One should recite Gomel upon survival of a dangerous situation, it should be said during the reading of the Sefer Torah. If possible one should fulfill ones obligation to say Gomel within three days of the event.

Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the universe,

who bestows beneficences upon the culpable,

for He has bestowed goodness upon me.

Congregation responds:

Amen.

May He who has bestowed beneficence upon you always bestow every beneficence upon you.
