בָּרֽוּךְ אַתָּֽה יְיָ אֱלהֵֽינוּ מֶֽלֶךְ הָעוֹלָֽם, אֲשֶׁר קִדְּשָֽׁנוּ בְּמִצְוֹתָֽיו, וְצִוָּֽנוּ עַל נְטִילַֽת לוּלָֽב:

Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the universe, who has sanctified us with His commandments, and commanded us concerning the taking of the lulav.

בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יְיָ אֱלֺהֵֽינוּ מֶֽלֶךְ הָעוֹלָם,

Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the universe,

שֶׁהֶחֱיָֽנוּ וְקִיְּמָֽנוּ

who has granted us life, sustained us,

וְהִגִּיעָֽנוּ לִזְּמַן הַזֶּה:

and enabled us to reach this occasion.
