The following blessing is said after eating cooked or baked foods prepared from the five species of grain (wheat, barley, rye, oats, or spelt); after drinking wine or grape juice; or after eating grapes, figs, pomegranates, olives, or dates. If one partook of a combination of the above, the blessings are combined.

בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יְיָ, אֱלֹהֵינוּ מֶלֶךְ הָעוֹלָם, עַל {{grain:הַמִּחְיָה וְעַל הַכַּלְכָּלָה|wine:הַגֶּפֶן וְעַל פְּרִי הַגֶּפֶן|fruit:הָעֵץ וְעַל פְּרִי הָעֵץ}} וְעַל תְּנוּבַת הַשָּׂדֶה וְעַל־אֶרֶץ חֶמְדָּה טוֹבָה וּרְחָבָה שֶׁרָצִיתָ וְהִנְחַלְתָּ לַאֲבוֹתֵינוּ לֶאֱכוֹל מִפִּרְיָהּ וְלִשְׂבּוֹעַ מִטּוּבָהּ. רַחֶם־נָא יְיָ אֱלֹהֵינוּ עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵל עַמֶּךָ וְעַל־יְרוּשָׁלַיִם עִירֶךָ וְעַל־צִיּוֹן מִשְׁכַּן כְּבוֹדֶךָ, וְעַל־מִזְבְּחֶךָ, וְעַל־הֵיכָלֶךָ. וּבְנֵה יְרוּשָׁלַיִם עִיר הַקֹּדֶשׁ בִּמְהֵרָה בְיָמֵינוּ וְהַעֲלֵנוּ לְתוֹכָהּ. וְשַׂמְּחֵנוּ בָהּ וּנְבָרֶכְךָ בִּקְדֻשָּׁה וּבְטָהֳרָה.

Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the universe, for {{grain:the sustenance and for the nourishment|wine:the vine and for the fruit of the vine|fruit:the tree and the fruit of the tree}}, for the produce of the field, and for the precious, good, and spacious land which You have graciously given as a heritage to our ancestors, to eat of its fruit and to be satiated with its goodness. Have mercy, Lord our God, on Israel Your people, on Jerusalem Your city, on Zion the abode of Your glory, on Your altar, and on Your Temple. Rebuild Jerusalem, the holy city, speedily in our days, and bring us up to it and make us rejoice in it, and we will bless You in holiness and purity.

On Rosh Chodesh and Chol Hamoed, add the following.

וְזָכְרֵנוּ לְטוֹבָה בְּיוֹם {{rosh_chodesh:רֹאשׁ הַחֹדֶשׁ הַזֶּה.|chol_hamoed_pesach:חַג הַמַּצּוֹת הַזֶּה.|chol_hamoed_sukkot:חַג הַסֻּכּוֹת הַזֶּה.}}

Remember us for good on this day of {{rosh_chodesh:Rosh Chodesh.|chol_hamoed_pesach:the festival of Matzot.|chol_hamoed_sukkot:the festival of Sukkot.}}

כִּי אַתָּה יְיָ טוֹב וּמֵטִיב לַכֹּל

For You, Lord, are good and do good to all,

וְנוֹדֶה לְּךָ עַל הָאָרֶץ וְעַל {{grain:הַמִּחְיָה. בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יְיָ, עַל הָאָרֶץ וְעַל הַמִּחְיָה.|wine:פְּרִי הַגָּפֶן. בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יְיָ, עַל הָאָרֶץ וְעַל פְּרִי הַגָּפֶן.|fruit:הַפֵּרוֹת. בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יְיָ, עַל הָאָרֶץ וְעַל הַפֵּרוֹת.}}

and we offer thanks to You for the land and for {{grain:the sustenance. Blessed are You, Lord, for the land and for the sustenance.|wine:the fruit of the vine. Blessed are You, Lord, for the land and for the fruit of the vine.|fruit:the fruits. Blessed are You, Lord, for the land and for the fruits.}}

After all other foods and drinks (except bread, grain foods, wine, and the fruits above):

בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יְיָ, אֱלֹהֵינוּ מֶלֶךְ הָעוֹלָם,

Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the universe,

בּוֹרֵא נְפָשׁוֹת רַבּוֹת וְחֶסְרוֹנָן

Creator of numerous living beings and their needs,

עַל כֹּל מַה־שֶּׁבָּרָאתָ לְהַחֲיוֹת בָּהֶם נֶפֶשׁ כָּל־חָי.

for all the things You have created with which to sustain the soul of every living being.

בָּרוּךְ חֵי הָעוֹלָמִים:

Blessed is He who is the Life of the worlds.
